About Us

S.D Girls. Sr. Sec. School, Hoshiarpur,(formerly S.D. Sr. Sec. School, (Girls Wing)) was established in 1996 by Shri. Amrit Sagar Mittal Managing Director, Sonalika Group of Industries(International Tractors Ltd.) The School has progressed manifolds since its establishment under the aegis of Mrs. Ajit Kler Incharge (1996 - till date) in a very short span of time. There were only 72 students and 8 staff members in the first session 1996-97 and it is a matter of great pride to announce here that we are now imparting education to near about 1100 girls by running all the 3 streams in Senior Secondary department i.e. Science Group, Commerce Group & Humanities Group.
